Seaweed Butter

While we’re proud to be a market of fishermen’s landings, our goal is to make their fish as accessible and easy as possible for you to devour at home. That’s why we’ve spent 3 months looking for the best butter producer to help you create and elevate the flavours of your fish. Packed with seaweed sourced by hand on the Welsh coast, what Jonathan and the team at Pembrokeshire Beach Food have created is sensational. With almost any fillet of fish, all you’ll need is a knob of their butter at a high heat and between 2-6 minutes to create a gorgeous dish – bursting with every flavour of the sea. The truffle butter is a fantastic addition to any white fish but if you’re cooking scallops or shellfish, the Black Butter is a knockout!

Sea Truffle Butter – 80g jar Sea Truffle Dulse Butter

Pepper Dulse seaweed is known as the truffle of the sea. Hand harvested, this delicate and sparse seaweed is mixed with butter and seasonings to create Sea Truffle Butter. A modern classic, the flavour is truly unique and always a show stopper at Cafe Mor, Freshwater West, where their recipe originates. Pairs beautifully with fish, seafood and cheese.

Welsh Sea Black Butter – 80g jar Welsh Sea Black Butter

Welsh Sea Black Butter is butter with laver seaweed and a touch of seasoning. Packed full of beautiful umami flavours, this will be your staple go-to condiment with seafood. Try cooking Frazer’s hand-dived scallops with it, or liberally spread over bread rolls to take your Boxing Day butties to the next level.

The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company

Jonathan’s love for the sea and coastal foraging led him to set up famed Pembrokeshire seafood deli and pop-up Cafe Môr back in 2011. After countless awards in their first few years, the team and concept grew to be The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company, offering a diverse range of foraged coastal condiments and delicacies used in popular Cafe Môr recipes. Packed full of flavour and ready to punch you round the face with umami, their range of butter and spices go superbly with seafood and cheeses.
